Wanderers' Art School. Enjoy your painting. Andy Thomson is an all-rounder and can help you create that special piece, or solve a problem in a work going awry. Contact Andy for expert lessons in airbrushing. Andrew has also worked in industrial design and advertising, made models large and small for educational design projects, including the big Frillneck lizard at the entrance to Gosford Reptile Park, N.S.W. He sculpts in cement, perspex and stone and also has skills in airbrushing having worked on custom vehicle painting as well as graphic design. Andy has exhibited in Australia, Europe and the UK, and has paintings in collections in many parts of the world. He is a qualified commercial artist and also studied landscape at the University of the Sunshine Coast with Barbara Bolt. (Call in advance) Experience Andy is an artist and art tutor of many years experience and has mastered many styles and techniques of painting and drawing. This is an art group for adults but we are young at heart! Wednesdays 9.30 to 12.30 pm. Students are encouraged to enter art competitions and win prizes and sell paintings. Create artworks from concept to completion and learn to resolve art problems with competence and panache. Explore the medium of your choice - oils, acrylics, watercolour, pastels or drawing media with Andy as mentor. (more).
