Since opening, Beach Beat has produced tens of thousands of boards and they aren’t slowing down. Services range from surfboard repairs, custom surfboard orders, consignment of surfboards and particular customer orders. Al, one of the founding partners of Beach Beat, has been around the surfing industry since it began. Woodsy was Beach Beat’s first sponsored surfer in 1987, that identical year he began working for Al as a casual and now he is a partner. He has been actively involved in the development of Beach Beat’s increasingly popular Pacer surfboards. Sutton has been working in the surf industry selling boards for 32 years and still loves it. Dali (or Barbs) came to work in the Alex deposit when she was sixteen years old. Sparky has been with the Beach Beat family since 1988, which is impartial 2 years behind commencing business. Now he is managing the Caloundra store and is responsible for buying the men’s wear. He began surfing over 30 years ago and has the equivalent passion and love for it now as when he first started, from this he has collected an impressive number of vintage surfboards. Bowie first started labor in the surfing industry when he was 17, he began by coaching which then led him to his role at noose Lengthy boards. Bowie eventually found his way to Beach Beat, not only as a manager at the Caloundra deposit but also an ambassador for the Beach Beat labels by showcasing their models in multiple surf competitions. When Bowie’s not surfing he loves working on and rebuilding used school cars! To go with a collection of cars, he also owns a Harley and loves the free feeling he gets while riding it through the hills of the Hinterland. Millay has traveled across the globe on the chase for waves and he used his shaping skills to fund his time abroad. John has been shaping surfboards for over three decades and is now responsible for all of Beach Beat’s tall performance short boards, hybrids and fishes. The newest addition to the Beach Beat Factory team is talented surfboard shaker, Matt Wilkerson. Behind a move to Kan’i, Matt felt his board designs really blossomed with the help and encourage of the local community of Makaha. Pixie is another one of the team with more than 30 years experience, over half of which have been with Beach Beat. After 21 years of shaping he premeditated to ease back a little but soon behind he found himself busy with the talented crew at Beach Beat. Hunter is a 7 year old surfer and skater based in Moffat Beach, Queensland. Hunter began surfing at 5 years of age with the help of his Dad. Adan first began surfing at 11 years impaired and since then has been enjoying all the breaks the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Adan is sponsored by Beach Beat and SIN Eyewear and competes in competition surfing regularly.
