Carramar and Kabara are tall quality aged protection centers providing more than honest care. Our lofty standard facilities yield our residents a relaxing environment and lifestyle. Each residential room has a private en suite bathroom and garden area, plus spacious communal living areas for socializing. Our buildings are air conditioned and centrally heated for our residents’ comfort. As community nonprofit centers, Carramar and Kabara have set the standard and developed an excellent model for services attuned to the exceptional needs of our residents. NoosaCare’s fresh 32bed Dementia Specific Unit has been designed to yield single room, unsuited accommodation, providing a homely environment that is supportive of people living with dementia. Residents can choose to pay for their accommodation by a refundable deposit, a daily payment, or a combination of both. A refundable place is paid as a lump sum amount. Specially chosen staff have received extensive education in dementia and will participate in the day to day life of the residents. The building has been designed to reflect the noose lifestyle. Each single room will have its own en suite and an outlook onto beautifully landscaped gardens and our love for the outdoors. A stuffed functional kitchen will provide the opportunity for staff and residents to cook meals together. The Rural Sector escape through the enclosures and gates smell, touch and lay in the fresh grass, interact and concern for the livestock, touch the tools, free the memory, feel the sun on the skin and smell the flowers.
