The whales are a part of the ever growing Migratory species future to the tropical waters from the feeding grounds in the Antarctic. Snapper season hasn’t been amazing this year but calm getting a scanty fine ones here and there. Desirable week last fishing up in noose weather was amazing. What a great way to complete of the day with this attractive mulloway. What can i say the fishing as been outrageous the preceding scanty days. And the fishing was distinguished with ample of reefies on the bite. With the Whales migrating north there was quite a lot of excitement going on with each trip we are very lucky to be able to combine fishing with chance Whale watching through the winter months! The majority of trips have Whale sightings! The month finished up with quite a lot of wind and trips were scanty and far between. The fishing was a trivial touch and go at the start of this month With some of the reefs producing loads one day and close to nothing the next. But the huge Amber Jack are doing their segment to arouse the customers! By mid month we were doing a few trips to The Banks’ and coming across some huge catch! The Banks started to produce some immense quality fish by mid month and when the Yachties’ came out on the 13th for their night charter they certainly had a scanty good fish on board. Chardons was also producing well toward the final of the month with a good variety of reef species being bagged by our customers. With the weather easing up a small we were able to get in a scanty good trips and some of them out wide! The Banks and DI were fishing healthy with a mixed bag of pelagic and desirable Scarlet and snapper, not to mention loads of other reef species on the bite. The Reef species presenting themselves already make for a promising winter fishing season! The reef species are tranquil being caught with some desirable frying pan sized catch to take home.
