Bodyguards require good reflexes, weapons, knowledge of open hand and closed hand tactics, skills in operation of vehicles or vessels, flexibility, negotiation skills, the ability to work as part of a team but still be an independent thinker, powers of observation and situational awareness, and the ability to meet the licensing and legislative requirements of the country or state where they are operating. All our close personal protection staff have at least one specialist skill or area, as well as their general training. These are people with character traits and skills that suite them to this role.
